    Harry Cowan directed the Euclid Celebration Choir for the churches' 75th Anniversary in July 2003. This was nearly 50 years after he served the church as choir director in 1955-56. It was an outstanding Homecoming weekend!

    Euclid Avenue Baptist Church: After a visit from Ezra B. Cox, chairman of the Pulpit Committee, Dr. B.R. Lakin accepted the call as Euclid’s third pastor January 1, 1938. He was previously engaged in evangelistic work, and in his 18 months as pastor was a period of constant revival meetings.

    Euclid Men's Ensemble, 1950-51. Standing (L>R) Wayne Buck, Kenneth Blaylock, Harry Cowan, and Charles Edward Stewart. A young Charlie Goodwin (seated) was the church pianist. Goodwin later became well known for his orchestra, The Charles Goodwin Orchestra.
